Call for Papers

IMPORTANT: Due to COVID 19, we will organize the EMNET 2021 conference as an ONLINE conference. We plan to organize the conference next year from September 22 - 24, 2022 in ODESSA.

The ninth international conference on ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT OF NETWORKS will be held ONLINE from September 23th – September 25th, 2021. The purpose of the conference is to provide an international discussion forum for research in economics and management of networks.

Theoretical, conceptual and empirical papers from all fields in economics and management of networks (franchising networks, retail and service chains, cooperatives, financial networks, venture capital relationships, joint ventures, strategic alliances, licensing, clusters, public-private partnerships, networks in international business) are welcome.

Special workshops will be organized focusing on the following topics:

Procedures for Submitting Abstract and Paper

Authors who want to present a paper should submit an abstract (400-500 words) at the registration page.

A copy of the paper (.pdf or .doc) must be submitted by SEPTEMBER 5, 2021.

We plan to edit a BOOK at Springer with the title "Networks in International Business: Managing Franchises, Cooperatives, Alliances and Digital Platforms" (co-editors: G. Hendrikse, G. Cliquet, J. Windsperger, I. Hajdini)

Special Issues (the submission of the papers for review is already possible now!)

(I) "Progress in the Theory of the Firm and Networks" (co-editors: A. Grandori, G. Hendrikse, C. Menard, J. Windsperger) in International Journal of the Economics of Business

(II) "Strategy-Governance Relationship in International Business Networks" (co-editors: J. Windsperger, M. Jell-Ojobor, A. Raha, Z. Yaqub) in European Journal of International Management - Call for Papers

(III) a Special Issue of the Journal of ENTREPRENEURSHIP, MANAGEMENT and INNOVATION - (including 5-10 papers) in cooperation with the University of Warsaw, Odessa National Economic University and University of Vienna.

FEES

(Only the presenters have to pay the conference fee)

Regular Conference Fees: 100 EUR

Reduced Fees:  PhD students are requested to pay 50 EUR

NO FEES: Researchers from developing countries and Non-EU Eastern European Countries
